Jim Wood, co-founder and President of R&J Construction, Inc., has had more than 28 years of experience in the construction industry.
Wood worked for various contracting firms prior to joining Ron Longchamps Construction in 1984. Wood and Longchamps formed R&J Partnership to focus on building houses for speculation. In 1987, R&J incorporated their successful endeavor to a contracting business for new custom construction, remodeling and light commercial.
Wood is responsible for job estimates, contract documents and computer systems. In addition to his extensive field construction experience, Wood is involved in subdivision processing and property rezoning.
Wood is currently serving a third 4-year term on the Town of Danville Design Review Board.
Wood received his Bachelor of Science degree from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
