Founders Ron Longchamps and Jim Wood created R&J Construction in 1986 to bring the highest quality craftsmanship and superb customer relationships together with integrity-based business practices in a full service custom construction company. Ron and Jim, with hands-on field trade experience and years of "swinging a hammer," provide essential skills and leadership perspective delivering quality construction services with an unwavering commitment to you.

Our team is also committed to the philosophy that working with us should be a great experience you enjoy—one where you look forward to working with us again and referrals spread the news about our crew and expertise. We believe this holds us accountable to do our very best for you, each and every time. Instead of spending our effort on advertising and promotion, we put our passion into every project so you are thrilled with our work and your beautiful new space. This founding principle works well for R&J and for you—in the last 7 years half of our projects were collaborations with existing clients.

And, our entire team is committed to these beliefs—80% of our Superintendents have been with us for more than 19 years.
