Jim Wood

Jim Wood, cofounder and President of R&J Construction, Inc., brings more than 37 years of experience in the construction industry.

Jim is responsible for job estimating, value engineering, construction feasibility studies, site evaluation, design and CADD drawings, contract documents, and computer systems. He designed and wrote the proprietary job bidding software program R&J uses to provide the most accurate and detailed proposals in the business.

Jim served a 14 year term on the Town of Danville Design Review Board where he reviewed all commercial projects, all new commercial signage, all residential subdivisions and sensitive hillside and ridgeline home proposals for the town. Jim also offers his expertise as an independent consultant for local community organizations, providing proforma pricing guidance for projects.

Jim received his Bachelor of Science degree from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
